DO YOU HAVE RANKINGS?GRADINGS?

Yes, ranking are traditional in martial arts such as Judo and BJJ. Rankings in muay Thai in Thailand are based on professional competition, and titles are won in the ring. However,  Thai Government has worked tirelessly to spread muay Thai and its culture as an amateur sport and  martial  art throughout the rest of the world, and has developed a grading system for students of all ages to progress.

As an accredited Gold Training Facility of the US Muay Thai Federation — the governing body in the USA for Olympic Muay Thai — Five Points Academy has adopted rankings as part of our training curriculum and pedagogy.

Rankings in Pektiti Tirsia Kali follow the traditional structure of SouthEast Asian Martial Arts. Rank and grade progression are useful tools to help guide instruction, to give students goals and provide tangible measures of progress. We do not charge for testing or advancement.
