INDIAN CLUB SWINGING
The clubs originated centuries ago in India. They were developed by soldiers, police, and others whose caste required strength, agility, balance, physical prowess, and martial arts skill. British officers involved in the annexation of India were surprised to find the natives marvelously expert in swinging clubs in various graceful and fantastic motions, and they noted that besides the great recommendation of simplicity the Indian club practice possesses the essential property of expanding the chest and exercising every muscle of the body concurrently. The rediscovery and growing popularity of Indian clubs may well be the decade’s most interesting development concerning modern restorative and martial arts in American culture.

Kettlebell Training
Train, sculpt, and strengthen your body with Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) and KBC certified instructors. Kettlebell training targets all the major muscle groups while significantly improving your stamina and balance. A focused workout and challenging class that uses anaerobic intervals to shed calories and increase endurance.

THIS IS HOW WE ROLL
Today nearly every athletic training room and most strength conditioning facilities contain an array of foam rollers in different lengths and consistencies. Foam rollers are the poor mans massage therapist, soft tissue work for the masses. The techniques are simple and the manipulation of soft tissue causes athletes to either stay healthier or, to get healthy faster. The use of foam rollers has progressed in many circles from an acupressure type approach to a self-massage approach. The roller is now used to apply longer more sweeping strokes to the long muscle groups like the calves, adductors and quadriceps and small directed force to areas like the TFL, hip rotators and glute medius.

TOTAL CONDITIONING
Designed by fighters for fighters (and those who want the body of one). Bodyweight exercises, calisthenics, high intensity intervals and extended time under tension — if you want to look and feel like a fighter this class will take you there. Strength and endurance: who could ask for more?

ULTIMATE SANDBAGS
Build endurance, explosive power and core strength while training with sandbags, bodyweight and battling ropes. The unique shifting weight of the sandbag causes the body to incorporate more muscles into each exercise. The body is forced to work harder because no two repetitions are the same, concurrently increasing the number of calories being burned during the workout. Sandbags also allow for a greater range of rotational movement while lifting. This will directly translate into greater strength, conditioning and injury prevention. Open to all levels.
